  • "On Rosh Hashanah it is inscribed and on the fast day of Yom Kippur it is sealed…"

    Dear Friend,

During the Ten Days of Teshuvah (from Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur) it is customary to supplement our prayers for Divine mercy and compassion with deeds of kindness of our own. As Jews the world over congregate to ask God for a happy and healthy new year, you may notice that many of the traditional holiday prayers are written in the plural form. Because Judaism is a group effort – you’re not in it alone.

Traditionally, during this season of increased charitable giving, many Jewish organizations conduct a formal appeal in the synagogue. At Chabad, our programming is not limited to any specific group of people, so our appeal extends to anyone who cares about Jewish life in our community.

Chabad serves as a vibrant center for Jewish life, through adult education, youth programs, chaplaincy and more. Your generous support empowers us to provide a widening circle of people with a growing range of opportunities to experience Judaism, all in a welcoming and nonjudgmental setting. Your donation goes very far.

Thank you for supporting our activities. Thank you for partnering with us.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones Shana Tova. May you be inscribed and sealed in the book of life, and blessed with a sweet new year.
